I. General

Q. What types of assessments can I create in Assessments Central?

AssessmentsCentral offers two types of assessments. General and Q&A.

1. In General assessments, questions don't have a right or a wrong response. They are just to consider the inputs from your clients to understand their situation or need. The assessment report of an general assessment shares additional information, best practice recommendations, and provides information on how your product, service or practice can fit your needs. These fit well in business promotion and marketing campaigns of all sectors.

2. In Q&A Assessments, questions have a right and wrong answers. The assessment report of an general assessments provides your actual score, percentage, and shares a detailed report on the question-by-question, showing your response, correct response and some additional information on each question. In general, most assessments in the education vertical fall into this category.

Q. What types of questions are currently supported in Assessments Central?

In a Type Based Assessment, you create Question Types to apply scoring to. You assign the score to the type of question you have created. For instance, if your assessment is split into three types of questions – beginner, intermediate, advanced, you can assign a lower score to the questions in the Beginner Type questions than in the Advanced type questions. You do not create Scoring Keys in this type of assessment

A. Assessments Central supports a variety of questions to support assessments that suit all needs. One of our popular questions combines scale with multiple choice. Following questions are supported at this time:

  • Single option.
  • Checkbox.
  • Options or Multiple Choice.
  • Scale.
  • Scale Combined with Multiple Choice.
  • Yes/No.
  • True/False.

Q. How much does the Assessments Central cost?

Assessments Central offers its services on a monthly subscription basis. Subscription levels vary based on the number of responses received in a month. Basic subscription starts at $24.99 per month. For more information on the pricing, please refer to the "pricing section"

Q. What benefits do I get by subscribing to Assessments Central? Why should I buy your services?

Assessments Central provides fully hosted solution for creating, administering and managing assessments for businesses. Assesments Central's assessments bring a number of benefits to both the businesses and their clients making Assessments Central an essential and differentiating element of your business promotion and marketing collateral. Q. What is it that I get with a paid subscription, that I don't get with a trail subscription?

The trail subscription provides access to the full functionality of Assessments Central, and allows yo to create, launch assessments. While under trial subscription, all assessment reports contain a watermark within them. With paid subscription, there will no longer be an watermark within the reports.

II. Phase 1: Design, Create and Launch Assessments

Q. Can my newly created assessment can only be linked to one of my pages on the website?

Once a new assesment is created, a link to your assessment is created by the system. You can add this link to as many web pages are you deem necessary. There is no limit. In addition, the assessment link can be added as part of your product documentation, marketing collateral or simply be sent as part of an email to your clients.

Q. What are major elements in creating and customizing my assessment?

There are two differents aspects to creating and customizing your assessment. First, it is the assessment itself. Second, it is the assessment report that is generated for the user once the assessment is created. Both the assessment and the assessment should be developed and customized to put an assessment in play.

Q. How can you customize your assessment?

You can essentially customize each and every element of your assessment. Following is a list that includes some of them.

  • Assessment Title.
  • Assessment Terms and Conditions.
  • Assessment Type: General or Q&A.
  • Assessment welcome screen text and background image.
  • Assessment finish screen text and background image.
  • Number of categories in an assessment.
  • Number of questions within each category.
  • Category page with category description and custom background image at the start of a new category.
  • Type of questions chosen in each category.
  • Embed Image or Video with each question and response options.

Q. How can you customize your general assessment report?

Once a general assessment is created, you can customize the assessment report that is generated for the user on completion of the assessment. Similar to the assessment, you can essentially customize each and every element of your assessment report. Following is a list that includes some of them.

Q. How can you customize your Q&A assessment report?

Once a Q&A assessment is created, you can customize the assessment report that is generated for the user on completion of the assessment. Similar to the assessment, you can essentially customize each and every element of your assessment report. Following is a list that includes some of them.

Q. Can I Determine The Number of Questions on Each Page?

No, only one question will be shown at a time. Questions can be organized into categories or sections. With all questions linked to the user-friendly navigation panel, questions can be reviewed or skipped before returning to complete them.

III. Phase 2: Administer Assessments

Q. Do the users need to register before they can take the assessment?

No, Users don't require registration before they can attempt an assessment. Once an user completes an assessment, the user is requested to provide his contact information and other details before the assessment report becomes available for download.

Q. Is there a time limit for the user to complete the assessment?

At this time, there is no time limit restriction for the user to complete the assessment. The user can take his time to review and understand the questions and respond to them. User can complete as many questions as possible. There is no restriction to have a response to each question before the user can finish the assessment.

Q. What is the format of the General Assessment Report?

The format of the General Assessment report is as follows:

  • Assessment Report Design that is shared across the entire document.
    • Header Text and Header Image/Logo.
    • Footer Text and Footer Image.
  • Assessment Cover Page (Page 1)
    • Report Title and Title Image
    • Cover Page Main Image.
    • Shows the date the report was generated.
  • Assessment Agenda Page (Page 2) consists of the following items
    • Executive Summary.
    • Response Summary.
    • Section I: Category 1.
    • Section II: Category 2.
      • As many sections as the categories in the assessment.
    • Conclusion.
    • URL.
    • Email.

Q. What is the format of the Q&A Assessment Report?

The format of the Q&A Assessment report is as follows:

  • Assessment Report Design that is shared across the entire document.
    • Header Text and Header Image/Logo.
    • Footer Text and Footer Image
  • Assessment Cover Page (Page 1)
    • Report Title and Title Image.
    • Cover Page Main Image.
    • Shows the date the report was generated.
  • Assessment Score Report (Page 2) consists of the following items
    • Total Attempted.
    • Total Correct.
    • % Score.
  • Detailed Score Report
    • Section 1: Category 1.
    • Shows the response and result of all each question in this category.
      • For unanswered question, show correct answer & explanation text.
      • For incorrect answers, show actual response, correct answer & explanation text.
      • For correct answers, show correct answer & explanation text.
    • As many sections as the categories in the assessment.
  • Conclusion.

IV. Phase 3: Lead Generation, Reporting & Manage Assessments.

Q. Do I manage my assessments?

Pressing on the "My Assessments" icon in your subscription page brings you to your assessments dashboard. It shows all your assessments line by line. For each assessment, following information is provided: Assessment Name, Assessment Type, Number of Responses, Start Date and End Date. Along with this information, active/inactive status , edit report, edit assessment, delete assessment functions are provided. Using these functions, an user can activate or deactivate the assessment, edit the assessment or the assessment report or delete an assessment entirely.

Q. How do I see the results of the assessments being taken?

Pressing on the "My Assessments" icon in your subscription page brings you to the list of all your current assessments. When an user clicks on an assessment's name, the assessment details page appears where the user can see all the details of the assessment in two sections. The first section shows the title, created date, close date, name and URL of the assessment.

The second section on the page shows all the users who responded to the survey along with the responded date. Details of the respondent can be seen by clicking on the first name of the respondent. . View response link provides full details of a particular response. Response full details can be sorted based on category or navigated by using the next/previous button.

Q. Once I create an assessment, can I change the “Type” from “General” to “Q&A” or from “Q&A” to “General”?

No, once you create an assessment with a specific “Type” you cannot change the type.

Q. What if I need to change a question after I’ve already created the assessment?

You can simply log into your account, find the correct assessment, find the question that needs to be changed and make the changes – your assessment will automatically update where ever it is posted.

Q. Can I add new categories or questions to an assessment once it has been created?

Yes. You can add or modify categories and questions. Your assessment will automatically be updated where ever it is being used.
